Anyone Having............

Anyone having or had surgery at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville Ky. with Dr. Shina? I will be having my surgery there on 9/20/04 with Dr. Shina and just wondering how good the hospital is. Thanx Sherry B.

Hey there I had surgery April 8th with dr. Shina and I have to tell you that I think he is just the greatest. However the care I got at Nortons, was not. The day after my surgery everyone was very attentive but after that it was very hard to get anyone to come back in there,..I reccomend taking someone..I had my husband and he went and got them if they didn't come. Just keep on them and everything should be fine! Good luck!

Hi Jessica I am so glad you responded to my post thank you. I like Dr. Shina also but was not to sure about the hospital. I can't wait to get this weight loss started and hope all is well with you since surgery.

No problem! I know I was so excited to get started too butfor a while afterwards I was thinking, what did I get myself into? But that eventually got better..just got to take it one day at a time. I will be 4 months out the 8th and have lost about 60-70lbs. So everything is good here. I did have some problems with drinking early out and had to be re-hospitalized so you should drink, drink, drink, no matter what. I wish you luck and hope everything goes well with your surgery. I'm sure i will think the same things but i am determined to lose this weight. Congrat's on your weight loss you are doing great i hope i can lose 60-70 pounds in 4 months.
