I received a call from my surgeons office a few days ago. I'm APPROVED for surgery. Because of work I can't take off until the second week in August, but if all goes according to plan I should be able to have surgery around August 12th. Just waiting on a call to schedule an appointment with Dr. Weiss.

Thanks. This has been a long time coming. I began this journey in September of last year. Found out I had to have a 6 month documented doctor supervised diet. The supervised diet I had didn't have 6 consecutive months so I had to start over. I am soooooooooo excited. I can't wait to become a "loser"

Congrats! Robin, I can't wait to be in your shoes. Hopefully soon. I go back on tuesday and find out the results of my endoscopy. If all is well then they submit my paper work for approval. Everything I have is crossed lol. Good luck and God bless you Robin.
