Questions about Dr. Rodriguez...!

Hey all!!! I was in for my second appointment with dr. Rod exactly 2 weeks ago and he said that he would do open RNY on me since this is what I prefer. He said that they would be submitting my info to insurance in about 2 weeks. I have medicaid, and would like to know if anyone has any idea of how long that the wait for an answer will be..? He told me that upon approval, I will be having my surgery about the end of July or the first of August...Any replies will be appreciated.. Sher

I researched the insurers link up above and most KY Medicaid pts said they approved within 7 days (if all requirements are met). Make sure you know all of those early. I had everything done and was waiting for my date and found out they wanted a psyche eval. Cost me some time. So ck it out early. Good Luck with everything. PJ wfad

I am on KY medicaid. I had everything together and I saw Dr. Rod for my first appt on oct 1st my surgery was Nov 8th. Good Luck Sandra
