I have CHA which is administered through Commonwealth Administrators and have been trying to find out about how long it takes for approval from them. Any information would be helpful. My info has been sent to the insurance company so now I just wait. Thanks!

Hi Glenda... I have CHA as a secondary insurance to Medicare. I am a retired state employee out of Northern Ky. I know that they will pick up what Medicare does not cover (depending on what kind of plan you have and whether there is a co-payment or not). As for CHA as primary, I do not know but I do know that I have had a very hard time trying to get reimbursed for some prescriptions I had to pay out of pocket for, that was in September '03 and I still have not been paid. It takes them a while. I am not trying to sound discouraging about them, but I have found they are hard to get started and get things rolling. I sound like the voice of doom.... and I do not mean to. I want to encourage you all I can. I am sure they will come through for you. It may take a little longer. Keep looking up and remember the new life ahead Sandra Wilson
