MOMMA ANGEL UPDATE (from her son) refreshed Original Post by Momma Angel at 4:33 PM PST on 06/05/2004 MI Hi, This is Dan Malfroid Paula Bazan's (Momma Angel) son. She is in medical ICU at Spectrum Health East campus in East Grand Rapids MI. She is currently in a comma. On thursday the 3rd she had to go on a ventilator to breathe for her, during the procedure her heart stopped and it took a half hour to get a pulse back. Right now the doctors are saying she might have brain damage from the lack of oxygen to her brain. She has 3 different infections in her lungs. We are hoping and praying for her with everything we have. We need your prayers too. As it stands the doctors say she probably will not pull through and if she does she may be a veg or be on a vent through her neck. God can make miracles happen if we believe. Let's believe and have faith that she will pull through and be totally restored. If you can send a card we would appreciate it. I am honor to have a chance to chat with her on line. My prayers & thought will be with momma and you. She will always be an insperation to me, and has encourage me on not to give up. She is loved by many and we will keep hope for her. Dan, I am very sorry for what you are going through. Apparently she has touched the hearts and lives of many. She was the first to leave me words of encouragement on here and I am greatful for that. Keep the faith. The lord works in mysterious ways.

Kim I'm sorry but I'm not Momma Angel son Dan - her son has posted on the main message board about her condition, and it is an outstanding post with alot response. As a fellow member I feel the same way has you do over a serious situation of our Momma Angel. Thank You But please check out the Main Obesityhelp Messageboard, that is where Dan has posted the news.
