Help

I have just sent in my packet to start my journey. Has anyone used the Bariatric Center at Georgetown Community Hospital. Dr. Weiss and Oldham? Marsha

I have not used them, but I have read many good things about them on this board. Dr. Oldham is a step-son of the man that is my hairdresser. Of course, he only has great things to say about him.

thanks, I"ve read some really good things about them and my Dr recommended them but I'm hoping to hear from someone that actually used them. Thanks for the info. m

You will be in good hands with the docs! Drs. Oldham and Weiss did my surgery on August 4 and I left the hospital feeling great! Since then I have lost 100 lbs. You couldn't have chosen better than Georgetown Community Hospital! If you have any specific questions don't hesitate to e-mail me. Marsha, Georgetown Community Hospital Bariatrics is GREAT!!! I just got my surgery date this week and Dr. Oldham was so wonderful. He went over everything and made sure I understood what he was telling me. He was patient with all my questions. The nurses are out of this world, they are all so kind and considerate...because many of them have been where we have been. Dr. Oldham and Weiss's nurse Casi is so caring, and compasionate. Many times I did not hear from them at the center,( my insurance comapny was being stubbron took me 5 months to get approved), but rest assure they are working hard everyday to help. This can be a long process, it took me a total of 8 months to get where I am now, but from what I understand from talking to everyone including the staff it's all going to be well worth it.
