I recently was looking at older posts, and saw a doozy question from the 5/3/04. Not meaning to go there, buuuuut I am trying to reach Delores Sester. I tried and tried to e-mail you thru OH, but my computer is not working. I know you have been transected (is this the right word??? I'm getting them confused). If I need this surgery in the future, who are some Dr's in Ky that do this surgery. I have wanted to know the answer to this since before I had open RNY on 1/30/04. I don't know of any Dr's in Louisville that do this. If anybody has any answers to this, I'd appreciate it. By the way, I'm doing great with no problems now........just wanted to know for possible future knowledge. E-mail me privately if you wish. Becky 352/284/150

I have been to see Dr Neighbert at St. Joe He does the revisions. he said he was the only doctor that he knew of in KY that did them.

That is not true. I do revisions. Most are VBG to RNY conversions. But a few are RNY to RNY revisions. There are additional requirements for revision patients. I practice in Louisville, KY. It is true that most bariatric surgeons will not do revisions. Hope this helps. David Geller, MD
