Needing prayers badly!!!!

My surgery is scheduled for May 24th, and it has been so hard trying to help time pass. All of a sudden, I have come down with a sore throat, congested head, coughing, and chest congestion. I got in to see my primary physician. He decided to put me on amoxicillin, and I am to go back to see him on monday. If my symptoms aren't any better, or if my chest is still congested, he says I might have to call and cancell my surgery. I have been struggling with the wait for this surgery, and have got all my old small clothes ready. I have cleaned and made frozen dinners for my family, read books, and etc. The time has gone by soooooo slow as it is, I would be terribly sad if I had to cancell my surgery. Please can you all keep me in your prayers for my health to clear up so I can keep my surgery date?!?!?!

Melissa I sympathize completely. I don't han actual surgery date yet. I am scheduled for a laperotomy on the 19th in Louisville, ky. Waiting is terrible i'll pray for you if you pray for me hows that.

Melissa, Every thing will work out. Try to take the time you need right now to rest and drink lots of fluids. If you need to reschedule, then that will be for the best. You don't want anything to get in the way of a speedy recovery. I know its hard to wait but I know that you have the power to take control! You are already doing that! Keep in touch with your surgeons office and let them know what is happening. At least this way you will know what to expect. Where are you having your surgery? Please let me know if I can help! Rhoda- My surgery is going to be at Norton's Hospital. Thank you so much for everything! I am resting some and as always I am drinking lots of liquids. Congrats on reaching the loosing side yourself! Oh Darn it Melissa! My date is June 9th and I was home with my son 1st part of the week he has pnemonia...I'm so afraid I might get sick...I always do well with Zithromax...only 5 days worth of pills, Amoxicillian doesn't even scare my infections...they just laugh and keep on making me sick. You might ask your dr for a z pac and see what he says...I will pray for you too! I'm so sorry, I hate it for you! Prayer is powerful, you just have to believe you will be okay! Praying for a speedy recovery and a safe surgery....Michelle
