Any way around the system?

I have hit a roadblock and I am looking for help. I found out that my insurance policy has a written exclusion for any surgery pertaining to weight loss. Does anyone know of a way around this? If not, has anyone ever financed the procedure? That scares me since I know medical bills can get out of hand. I would appreciate any advice
