Help!!! Question about insurance.

I went for my second visit to Dr Rodriguez on 4/14/04, it was my under standing that my info would be sent to the insurance for approval either that day or the next. Well I just so happened to call my insurance company today 4/30/04, about another bill and so I ask about the wls. Much to my surprise they said that they had not recieved anything from the Dr's office yet. So, I tried to call the Dr's office today but they were already out for the day. I don't quite know were to go from here, so any advice will be very helpful. Thanks ahead of time Melisa

Hey Melisa...You can read my profile if you like, but long story short...It took three fax #'s from BCBS to get my info to them...if your surgeon has not already sent it, you might get a fax # for them to fax it to. This is what worked for me, but definetly follow-up with your surgeons office and the insurance co. Hope this helped, Michelle
