Medicare, HELP

Ok myname is Brian, I am looking into having the gastric bypass but several doctors in my region will not accept my medicare Has anyone else had this problem and if so Did you find a doctor who did or what also my mother in-law has medicaid and she is having the same problem any info would be greatly appreciated....Thank You

Hi Brian, this may help you. Use the OH board. Go to Bariatric Surgeons, search by state (Kentucky), once you get there click on "view" and you will see there profile and they have listed what kind of insurance they take. Happy Searching... Jill

Brian I live in Louisa Ky and I am having my surgery done in Louisville KY by Dr Allen. I have Medicare and had my 2 appts with Dr Allen. My last appt with him was April 2nd so as you can see my surgery was scheduled quite fast. My surgery date is May 24th.
