help!!!!very upset over insurance company.

I have tri-care prime (military insurance) and they have turn me down mainly because I have know problems other than my weight. I had to show proof of diets I was on plus any diet drugs I have taken in the pass but not good enough. did any one send pictures to there insur. comp??? I'm thinking about it but I don't know if that would even help. any ideas will be welcome. I'm going for an appeal as of now. you can email me at [email protected]. ty

Hi Diane, I have Humana insurance and still had to prove that I have been trying to loose weight for a minimim of 6 mo's. I obtained all my doctors records, the visits, diet pill prescriptions and conversations abt. weight the doctor and i had. I also had the doctor write a letter stating that I have been actively working on my weight. If your doctor doesnt have records stating all the above, make a doctors apt. and discuss your weight. Make your doctor keep records and visit your doctor once a month. This will take time, but It should work. I am not sure I helped you, but I sure hope so.... Talk care and good luck. Deborah
