Hello Everybody , I was just wondering are their any patients of Dr. Mark Pack, of Ashland, Ky that read/post here? Did you use Our Lady of Belfonte, or Kings Daughters Hospital. My son and I have met with him , we liked him very well and his office staff has been great. Just looking for some feedback. Thank you Trish

HI TRISH YES I HAD MY RNY SURGERY WITH DR. MARK PACK. I HAD IT JUNE 26-03. HE IS A WONDERFUL CARING DR. IVE HAD NO PROBLEMS. IM DOWN 128LBS. WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. WRITE ANYTIME, GLAD TO HEAR OF OTHERS, INQUIRING ABOUT HIM. I HAD MINE AT BELLEFONTE. I LIVE IN FLATWOODS. DIANA

Hello, Trish I also had surgery with Dr. Pack. I had open RNY 10/24/02. I started at 329 and I have lost 160 lbs. I thought he was a very nice doctor and had no complaints with him. Unfortunately my insurance changed right after I had surgery and no longer covered him. So, I haven't seen him since my first check up after surgery. I had my surgery at Belefonte only because I wanted my surgery on Thursday to make it easier for my husband and moms work schedule. My friend had hers at Kings Daughter and I truly think it is a much nicer hospital. I had excellent care though. Good luck to you and feel free to email me anytime. ~RuthieKY~

One of the best ways to research your surgeon is to ask your primary care doctor about them, and if they haven't heard about their reputation have them ask around for you.
