Waiting for insurance approval!!!!!

Hi everyone, I have finished my second pre-op visit with Dr. Rodriguez and my info was sent to the insurance yesterday 4/14/2004. I was wondering if anyone knows how long I should expect to wait for the insuramce to approve? I have Kentucky Medicaid/Kenpac. And if anyone has had Dr. R. how long after approval does it take for the surgery?

Hi Melisa, It took 1 month for my approval throught Kenpac. That's just what Dr. Rodriguez had told me to expcet. I got my approval April 6 and my surgery is scheduled for April 23. Not bad, huh? Lots of luck and best wishes. Anne
