tomorrow I have my pre admittance!
I get to go tomorrow at 9:30 and should be done around lunch time (hopefully) maybe after tomorrow this will feel more real to me. I think with all my past surgeries, this is just one more for me to add.
I am however very excited thinking about ThanksGiving. My inlaws live in Texas and we have plans to visit then, they don't know I am having this surgery, I can't wait to surprise them! I will be over 6 months out by then and noticably thinner.
Donna,
I am 19 weeks out as of today and have lost 89 pounds. My Mom just asked me yesterday if I ever regret having the surgery - my answer - no way!!
It is amazing how good I feel and how much more "normal" I feel.
We just saw family at Easter that I haven't seen since Thanksgiving - and they were all amazed at the change.
Take care and good luck with everything!
Hi Donna, You will feel this way up until they take you into the operating room, at least I know I did. It just kind of doesn't seem real. Even now I have a hard time believing I've lost 67 pounds. I will see my family in June for the first time since Christmas (my surgery was 12/1/03) and I think and hope they will be amazed! God bless
you as you begin your journey.
Jill
