Any words of encouragement....

I am awaiting approval from my insurance company for gastric bypass with Drs. Weiss and Oldham. I am very nervous about the whole procedure and would love to find someone I could talk to. Please e-mail or post messages if you could be my weight loss buddy

Hi, I am fighting my insurance now, but what ever happens DON'T GIVE UP! You are worth the fight, and if you were a smoker and had cancer they would pay for the surgery right away, and there is no differance.

Andrea Hi if your inc says no dont give up keep fighting them till they say yes I want to wish you the best ofluck with WLS journy its not a easy road but its well worth it you will have your ups and downs threw it just dont let the dwns get you down and if you mess up one day on eating wrong just get back on track the next daydont compare yourself to others weight loss if you think you are losing to slow everyone is different at losing the weight will come off some it just takes a lil mor time to do so it does not mean you are doing anything wrong e mail me anytime [email protected] Take Care Huggs Beth

Andrea, I just posted, before I read your post...I've just submitted for insurance approval too, with Dr. Bolar's office in Lexington. Please let me know how everything turns out! I have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Central NY (my husband works for Corning, Inc. in Harrodsburg, that's why we have New York insurance...the head quarters for Corning are in Corning, NY)...there are several people here at Corning who have had the surgery and I'm hoping to have my name added to the list.
