know and trust your pharmacist. If your pain script does't seem to help enough with your pain make sure your dosage is high enough. after 11 days of overbearing pain I find out my pain medication dosage is enough for a small child. I'm not a small child and need an adult dose. from 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon adult dosage of med makes a huge difference in the reduction of pain. fortunately my phamacist well trained and caring, called my dr. and got the dosage right. for 11(eleven day and nights i have been with the ouchhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! factor. Now i actually think ill survive this. my incision isn't infected as per er dr. however, it's a senoma accumalation of fluid in the wound. dr. arranged home health care to make a daily visit to pack and change wound/incision dressing. staples are out. 12 day post-op Judith

Judith, WOW that's terrible. Did you go to Pinebox ER or Lourdes? I guess that's a lesson to us all. If the pain meds don't seem to be working then make sure you call the pharmacist or the surgeon's office. Glad you are finally getting some relief. And congratulations on being a "loser" now. -Robin (still waiting on insurance )

Hi Robin, Actually Robin the CVS in lone oak was the only pham. open at the late hour i was discharged by Argotte. Didn't have a choice in phamacies so...you know the Drs. mistake on the script went undetected by the cvs pham. second script was taken to the mayfield Apothecary Shoppe. Pam Wright owner/Phamacist picked-up on the mistake and called Argotte to correct the dosage. She's good and caring. Glad she's our phamacist. 14 days post-op 18 pounds lighter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Judith

I didn't realize Mayberry had an Apothecary Shoppe. Oh well, guess that's what I get for not paying attention when I am down there. LOL When I lived there I always went to Gibson's. If you by chance know my parents - don't mention you saw me on here. They don't know I am having the surgery. -Robin
