Home from Lourdes, on the journey...

Thanks, to all of you that have wished me welll. Donna, yeah! you have a date. Jill thanks for you concern and prayer. I can't believe I'm still alive. This was rough... The hospital staff was wonderful professional but, very caring. They made me smile even under the cir****tances. And yes...John S. I was going crazy without the ice or water thing for three days. My lips and around my mouth are covered in blisters. I had to take the barium leak test, I had lots of drainage. NO LEAK Yes!! My liquid pain meds wear off about two hours to earily so I'm going to do a little adjustment.

Judith, Glad to see you are home from the hospital. Take it easy and try not to do too much. Remember you just had major surgery, give your body a little time to heal! God Bless Jill -63

HI Judith, I am so glad you made it home! I have less then three weeks now and am getting a little nervous. I will make sure I bring my chap stick to the hospital.
