doing the happy dance!!!!!!!

last night there was a segment on the news about the new bariatric center here and also about my doctor. well this morning I was doing laundry and just laying on the couch when the phone rang, the caller ID said it was my doctors office,,, i was almost afraid to answer it, but i did. I am approved!!! my surgery is set for april 21...less then a month away Donna

i am so happy for you....i am still waiting for an answer to my appeal....i so hope and pray they will pay for it....these insurance companies do not understand the stress they put us under.....good luck with everything.....and congrats!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am all too familiar with the joy you are feeling right now. Good for you. Also, it seems you will be going through the process a lot quicker than most - which is very fortunate. CONGRATS DONNA. THE STAFF AT LOURDES IS THE BEST! THE NURSES WERE THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD, YOU WILL BE IN WONDERFUL HANDS, EVERYONE DOES THEIR BEST TO PUT YOU AT EASE. GOOD LUCK AND LET ME KNOW HOW YOU ARE DOING. I AM NOW 10 DAYS OUT AND I HAVE LOST ALMOST 20 LBS I'M NOT SURE IF THAT IS ABOUT RIGHT FOR MOST OR NOT. MAYBE WE WILL RUN INTO EACHOTHER SOMETIMES AT THE OFFICE!

congrats on your date. dr. argotte and lourds are great,dont mention my name at the hospital they will kick you out lol. I wasnt a good patient. the worst thing I remeber was going 3 days with nothing to drink not even ice chips. I had sores in my mouth from it. good luck and god bless. john

Good for you Donna! May God Bless you as you begin your journey. It will be here before you know it! My advise to you would be to start cutting out pop and caffeine, it will be one less thing you have to do later. I'll be praying that all goes well for you. Jill -62

I have already cut out most of my caffeine, we drink caffeine free iced tea already. I will miss my Coke but I will survive! and I put in the wrong surgery date, its April 20th, a tuesday. I guess I was just so excited I put in the wrong date. I have already bought everything I will need. everytime i went to the store, i would pick up something. thank you all for your support Donna

Good for you! I am sure you are excited. I am happy for you... Jealous of you though....and wi**** was me...doing the happy dance..LOL but i hope you share your story with me. I maybe using the same doctor...not sure yet. Im still trying to get started. I wish you much luck...your new life will begin soon... and I know you will be so much happier! take care Kim
