Dr. cancelled my surgery, no new date yet!!!!!

Thanks to all of you that have had me in your thoughts and prayers. I was to have surgery this past Tuesday but Dr. Argotte's office called me late Fridday afternoon and canceled due to over scheduling! I was so upset everyone (my parents) had already taken off work this week my kids had all their schoolwork sent home and our bags were packed (we live about 4 1/2 hrs. from Lourdes Hospital where I was to have the surgery). I was and am so upset, they have not even rescheduled my surgery yet so I don't know what to do. I called yesterday (wed.) and talked to his wife and she said she was going to talk to him and see when he wanted to schedule me for and she would call me back, that was about noon yesterday and I still have not heard from them. I don't know if I should call them back or just wait. I don't want to be a pest but I have got to know something definite so I can make arrangements with my parents so someone will be able to care for my three kids! Any suggestions? Has anyone else had something like this happen or is it just my rotten luck? The awful thing is it took me so long to get myself to this point both mentally and physically that it was a huge let down!!

Lisa, stay strong. Remember you have done ALL the right things. It's time for others to step up and do what is right. It's amazing how people can do what they want to you and THINK that it is okay. Peace be with you.

HI LISA DR. ARGOTTE DID MY SURGERY AND I WAS THERE AT NOON WED. THEY DID SAY HE WAS GOING OUT OF TOWN FOR A MONTH SO HE MIGHT BE MOVING THING AROUND HE SAY HE AINT GOING FOR 2 WEEKS SO MAYBE HE WILL GET YOU BEFOUR HE LEAVES. MY GOT RESCHELED BECAUSE HE WAS GOING OUT TOWN AND HE DONT LIKE DOING IF HE AINT GOING BE AROUND AFTER.HE IS VERY GOOD AND WORTH THE WAIT. GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS. JOHN
