i am a 39 year old mother of 2 and i am divorced ---i weigh 376 pounds and i need help---i want to have the lap band surgery but i have medicaid----does anyone know a surgerun in kentucky who will take medicaid --please help---i want to be able to work and provide for my kids and i want to live a normal life and play with my kids also---please someone help me-----i am weigh out of control---debbie

Debbie, My surgery was lap RNY so I don't know anything about the Lap band. I suggest that you use this website and computer to research. Also, you can call some of the hospitals (I think Georgetown does lap band) and ask for a list of physicians who perform the surgery then call their offices and talk to the office manager about what they accept as payment.
