again I need some info..........

I hope that former patients of Dr. Gandsas' can shed a little light on the matter. It appears that he performs a slightly differenet type of gastric bypass than most other Dr's. He states that he leaves the pouch 6-8 ounces because of the differnet approach he uses. Can any former patient tell me if they have reached their goal and how long it took them. I am scheduled for surgery on the 27 and I am thinking of backing out. I NEED ANSWER....................................

HI I'VE NOT EVER SEEN THIS DOCTOR BUT I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE SIZE FOR THE POUCH? MAYBE I'M CONFUSED...BUT I THOUGHT GASTRIC BYPASS WAS THE POUCH OF 6-8 OUNCES. OR A SIZE OF AN EGG.
