upcoming surgery.....getting nervous

Hi Teresa: Dr. Weiss did my surgery on 10-1-03 and I've lost 89 lbs so far. I LOVE him and the entire program at Georgetown. Kathryn, So glad to here from you...sorry it has took me so long to reply back...I posted my message at work today...and I'm home now checking any replys...Congratulations on your weight loss you are doing Wonderful...My questions are really about the surgery itself..I know what it consists of but I've never had any surgery at all before..and the thought of being put to sleep and not waking up scares me more than anything...But hearing from you has inspired me even more...Did you have any problems? How long was your actual Hospital stay? Hi Teresa, You'll be in good hands with Dr. Weiss, not to mention gorgeous ones! I had surgery on Aug 4. and was out in two days. I had the OR team record the surgery on disc and watched it while I recovered so I saw in detail what a good job he did.
