Denied

I got a denial letter yesterday(Monday-12) from my insurance that was dated for Dec.29th. I am not sure what is going on exactly...they had asked for a detailed 5 year doctor supervised diet history w/weights. Robin, who is working on my insurance case, faxed in the diet history on Friday(Jan.9) and called them Monday to make sure they had received the fax. They had gotten the fax, but never mentioned my denial to Robin. They only said they would send the history to the medical review board. My denial letter said it was due to not having proof of a 5 year history...I am wondering if that was the final answer or if they will accept the history that was faxed in on Friday. More worrying and less sleep Marissa

I agree with Mrs. Jill... call the insurance. It could have been denied, and they may have been NICE enough to take care of the reason the case manager denied it... something simple like that shouldn't be hard to get taken care of... i would be SHOCKED if an insurance bent over backwards, but give them the benefit of the doubt.. Call them in the morning, and talk to them. If you get a voice mail, hang up and call bac****il you get a person with an answer!! Best of luck!!
