I'm looking for anyone that has or knows anyone who has Unitedhealth care PPO Ky I live in Ky closer to Nashville,Tn and wondering if anyone out there knows how my insurer will handle this. Shirley, My new employer has United Health Care PPO as it's insurance and I went on the Insurers section of this website (which is at the top of the page in the small blue letters along with several other links) and looked to see how they cover the surgery. From the ones I read they are wonderful about it. Most that I read was approved with first letter from physician. I noticed that there are several different types of United Health Care PPO's. Don't know which one you have, but you can call pre-cert # on back of card if you have it, and usually they will tell you whether or not they have approved your type of surgery or not. Or call customer service # if they have one, and they can tell you that info. Not a whole lot else because of HIPPA regulations. Anyway hope this helps, best of luck in your journey. God Bless, Paul
