Update: I'm Losing Again

Hi Everyone, I just want to first say that I hope that everyone had a very BLESSED Christmas and will indeed have a prosperous New Year!!! I'm still losing slowly but thank God that I am losing. Today I weighed in at 270lbs. I had been fluctuating for several weeks and finally another plateau has been broken. So this all means that I've lost 83lbs from my highest of 353lbs and 71lbs since my WLS on 3/27/03. Thanks again for all of your support and mostly your prayers. Many Blessings & Happy Holidays!!! marilyn, you are doing great. Remeber how I always complained about being a slow loser? Well this morning I weighed in at 125. That is 25 pounds below my surgeons goal and 15 below mine. They have given me suggestions to stop the weight loss but it's not working. I now am afraid I will lose too much. They said when I get to 115 they will have to put a feeding tube in. But, I'm hoping that I will stop losing on my own.

They told me to drink with my meals and snack in between meals and up the carbs. But I am still losing.

Hey Delores, What is your total weight loss ?? Did you ever think you would be trying to stop losing or even tryin to gain weight ?? Hope you stop losing soon....... Debbie

almost 104. No, I wasn't expecting to be one of those that keep losing. I haven't lost any this week so maybe I have stopped.

Hey Marilyn, so glad to hear u r losing again. I'm a member of the slug club too. I've only lost about 70 pounds in 7 months. But I guess that's better than gaining 70, right ? Anyway, I've got about 70 more pounds to go, so I'm right there with u in the slow loss group. Just think about this time last year, and how much better we both feel and how much smaller we r !!! God is great, isn't he ?! Good luck to u, we'll both just keep plugging along...
