Wow Debbie, I think there is a major difference!! You are doing FANTASTIC! I hope I have lost 56 lbs. by the time I am six weeks out. I think a lot of times we never see what we really look like in a mirror. Keep taking the pictures and look at them. Maybe that will help. Congratulations and keep up the good work! Sharan

My gosh, Debbie - look at your face! Big difference...and look at how much closer your arms are to your sides. I really hated it when my arms stuck out like a roly-poly toy. No more of that for us anymore! You look great. Besides, you've lost a lot FAST; it will take a while for the inch loss to catch up with the weight loss - it did for me. If you're not measuring, start NOW; I wish I had pre-surgery measurements. I didn't start until 6 weeks out, and you know that's a lot of inches gone.

CONGRATULATIONS DEBBIE I just can't belive that you can't see the difference in your appearance. 56lbs is amazing in 6 weeks. Try only losing 65lbs in 9 months and then you will really be disappointed.

Debbie, I have lost around 50 lbs so far and I too don't feel any different--the only place I see it is in my chin and bra area. One thing I wished I had done prior to surgery is make an outline of my body (use a clear plastic sheet or a bunch of paper taped together). I still did one the other day and so should you--this way you can re-draw your outline and have physical proof that you're shrinking. Remember--75% of this surgery is mental, so you need to keep looking in the mirror until you can see past your old self (and self-image) and see the new, healthier, thinner you! Best Regards, Tanya
