Getting Close!!

Hi guys, I am really having a difficult time thinking of anything other that Monday the 15th. I am so ready for this surgery, but I still have a little anxiety. I know that God is watching over me, it has been in His hands since the first day I even considered this step. I still have such a feeling of fear of failure. I know that that is just a case of nerves too, but it is in the back of my mind. I guess that just comes from so many times of losing the pounds only to have them come back. Please keep me in your prayers. I would like to thank Debbie Carver for volunteering to be my . Please keep praying for her surgery approval. It is really strange that you can feel so close to people that you don't even know. I look forward to being able to meet some of the people who seem so familiar! Sharan

Sharan, it IS nerve wracking but it'll all be over so fast you won't have time to worry when it gets here. Thank you for all your prayers going my way and I'm sending some back your way. That will be my first visit with the Dr. after surgery. What time are you scheduled? You may have posted it but I've been off for a while. Laura Johns

Hi Sharan, What you are feeling is very normal. I felt the same way and at times still do. God will see you through it just put it all in His hands. Being on this liquid diet has been difficult for me. I had my surgery 12/1/03 and don't go back to the doctor until 12/16/03. It just seems like an eternity away (but really only 6 days). I just have to take one day at a time and so will you. I will keep you in my prayers as you prepare. Pamper yourself before surgery go out to a nice dinner.
