Right Weigh..

What is this program?? I was doing some research today and found my own picture and info on thee.. I am pretty upset about it, because they copied and pasted my info from my obesity help profile and my picture. Maybe this is something to do with obesity help?? Or my surgeon's office?? But can someone please tell me what is this all about?!?!

Hi April, I too was surprised to find my information on Rightweigh.com so I checked it out. It is "powered by" obesityhelp.com, they seem to have seminars and support groups about weight loss surgery in our general region. It doesn't seem to be a bad thing. It would have been nice if obesityhelp.com would have informed its members about it though. Thanks, Jill

I sent an email to Right Weigh..and here is my response I got today... April, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We had no idea these testimonials were appearing on our website. We contract with obesityhelp.com to provide our web services, and apparently they have provided a direct link to our website from comments recorded on their website. I am instructing them today to remove all testimonials from our site that were not directly written to us. I am sorry for this, and please accept our apologies. Again, we had no idea, and we never authorized this. And it will end today/ Rick at Right Weigh

From what I remember of my initial research into WLS, Dr Bolar was/is affiliated with Right Weigh. That's probably why your posts appear on their website. I know my information from OH appears on my surgeon's website and he is also affiliated with Right Weigh.
