Has anyone had a lap rny

I am scheduled for a lap rny on 12-17-03. Will someone tell me if I will feel good enough to sing at church on the 21st? Just curious...

I had a lap RNY and I would say that it all depends on how you feel. The first 2 days after surgery I felt rough, but the 3rd day I could have climb a mountain. You tire easily and may feel a little weak, but you are having major surgery so that is part of the process. I wouldn't say no, but be prepared to have a back up plan.... Good luck, Teresa Gash
