Angel flying in......

Laura Johns has made it to the losing side. I just talked to her..She feels great...She had surgery around 1 or 2 today and they are getting ready to walk her around at 8pm...She is feeling fine pain level about a 3 when I talked to her and of course she is thirsty. Other than that she is perfect...I am so excited She is doing great and ready to start losing weight....TODAY

Jennifer, that is fantastic. I love hearing about Laura and knowing that she has made it to the losing side. I especially like to hear about those who are fellow patients at the Center for Weight Loss Surgery, I feel a special bond with each. I had emailed Laura the other day because after looking at her profile, I saw so many similarities between the two of us. She is especially fortunate to have met someone like you to become friends/angels for each other. I am scheduled for my surgery in 9 days on the 15th Please remember me in your prayers as I will both you and Laura. Sharan

HI sharan...Of course I will remember you in my prayers and I told Laura when I went and saw her that you were glad she was okay...I know what you mean about the special bonds..I too feel them...I will keep in touch with you..But in the meanwhile you take care...Aren't you excited? did you go to the nutrition seminar I have my on the 10th which one did you go to?

Jennifer, Thank you so much for giving my best to Laura. I am REALLY excited but I am really afraid by this time next week, I'll be a real bundle of nerves. I have lots of Christmas prep to do this week to keep me busy though. I am also having an early Christmas with my second graders on Friday because I won't be with them the last week before break. Hopefully that will all kind of keep me from worrying too much. I know that God has brought me to this wonderful plan and I know that He will see me through it! I go to Lexington on Wednesday the 10th for a meeing with Dr. Steiner and my pre admission stuff. They also said something about bariatric boot camp. I have to be at CWLS at 9 a.m. and then there is an 11a.m appointment for something, it isn't really clear what it is. What seminar are you going to?
