Any Central Kentucky Support Groups??

Hello all!! This is my first post on here. I am preop and wondering if there are any support groups for central kentucky. I live in Richmond and if there isn't a group already, I'd love to start one if people would be interested. I have a great support group online with friends I've met on here over the last few months, but none are local. Actually, only one is in Kentucky, but not close. If anyone is from Richmond or surrounding areas and would be interested in a support group, please let me know. Thanks and god bless all!! April

Georgetown still has a support group meeting and everyone is welcome. We have patients from Dr. Bolar and Dr. Gandsas, as well as the surgeons at Georgetown now, Drs. Weiss and Oldham. The next support group meeting is December 9 at 7pm in the Georgetown Hospital dining room. It's a fun group made up of both pre-ops and post-ops. You are definitely welcome if you'd like to come.

Thanks to all ya'll for the reply's and emails. I have found out, in case anyone else is wondering... Dr. Bolar also has a lexington support group at Samaritan, which is much closer to home for me than georgetown, since I live in Richmond... But thank you SOOOO much for the invite!!! For those interested, the support group is going to be Thursday, Nov. 20th at 6:00 in Conference Rooms A & B. You enter through the E.R. doors, go down the hall, and follow the signs. I am sooo excited!!! Again, thanks to all ya'll for your emails and replys posted here!! This site is great!
