I'm excited

Just had to share with someone. I had my surgery June 25. My "first" goal was to join the century club by my 40th birthday (Dec 28). I went to the gym today and got on the scale (with shoes on). I have "unofficially" lost 97 lbs! I may make it by Thanksgiving! I want to run into Dr. Geller's office and weigh on HIS scale. I don't go bac****il December 18. I don't know if I can stand it. My weight loss has slowed some, but I think it's a couple of things. #1 - I don't get all the water in I should, #2 I'm strength training so I'm hoping some of the muscle is building mass, #3 (the worst) I don't measure my food all the time and sometimes have "nibbles" of carbs . I know if I do as I did the first few months I could get at least another 15-25 lbs off before xmas. What a gift!!! Hopefully I can reach my goal of a weight loss of 148 lbs by spring. Isn't God great to give us people to give us the tools to improve our lives? Good luck to all!!! Laurie

Laurie, that is sooo awesome. I can just "hear" the excitement in your voice as you type. You can soooo reach your goal by your birthday and I bet you can lose even more!! I'm pre-op and I hope I can do as well as you. I hear all the time, just do exactly what the doctors say and you'll do great!! It sounds like that's what you're doing! You're gonna do it!!!
