I have appts !!!!!!

Hi everyone, It's been a while since I've posted, but I'm so excited !!!!! I know this doesnt seem like alot to be excited about , but I received my appt's for my battery of test today . I go Nov 3 for the tests and Nov 5 for the pysch eval... I know every appt gets me one step closer to a surgery date !!!! Good Luck to everyone out there that is going thru the process even if you are just starting or if you are waiting on ins approval. and congrats to all those that have already had the surgery and to the ones that have received a date !!!!! Aint God good !!! ..... We get a second chance... Who else but god would grant such a blessing ?? I am so thankful that god led me to the group at The Center for Weight Loss surgery at St. Joes East !!!!! God Bless... Debbie P.S. I just thougth of something..... For a woman that HATED going to the Dr..... I sure am exciting about going now. !!!! LOL So it definately has to be god..... You guys pray for me that I will have faith that I will be approved by my ins... I guess that is what terrifies me most.....

Debra, I am so glad you are moving right along Dr. Steiner finally got to the bottom of my stomach and left side pain and my inability to eat. I had to go to Er last week and have a ct scan and nothing showed up. I had an edoscopy today and was scheduled for upper Gi. I was in extreme pain when he came in to the the endo, he came right out and told us that I have a very bad ulcer and gave me lots of medicine to try to heal it up without surgery. That is one thing about him. If you have a complaint, he won't stop until he finds your problem. I just love him to death. he is an angel.

Hi Delores, I'm glad that he found your problem... I've been having some pretty severe abdominal pain and I am pretty sure it is my gall bladder, I've talked to a Dr. at the clinic where I work , but I am trying to hold off and watch what I eat and let one surgery do it all... I hope the "gall bladder" will cooperate... LOL.... hope you are feeling better soon... Debbie
