does anyone know whats going on?

back in july i called dr alans office to make an appointment (he had done my sons mother in laws surgery ..and was also refered by my own doctor) i was told i was being placed on a waiting list....TO GET ON A WAITING LIST..and would receive a call in late august or early september when they had done some rescheduling... well i waited...and waited ...and here it is october and had not received a call ...so today i called the office again and this time i was told NO ONE was being called until november ..something about a new surgical center.. so does anyone know the story or is this office just too busy and im getting a run around? please contact via [email protected]

I got the run around by them and celest was the worst one. I even e mailed dr allen he said he would check into it. I was gonna have the lapband done but when i found out inc would not pay for it but they would bpass. I talked to them i think it was rita and ask to have it switched to by pass she said she would . So i waited and waited and waited. Then finally started calling. With no calls back and that anwsering mchine thing they have and say they will call you back is a bunch of bull i even told them that. Finall i found a dr in my home town that did bypass went to him and about 1½ mts later i had my bypass. While i was waiting for approval from that dr. Dr Allens office called me and told me i had been approved for the LAPBAND .1yr later I was so pissed i told them that was great but i had done told yall i wanted the bypass and was told yall had smitted it. i got tired of waiting for yall cause now it has been 1 yr and i done have apt to get bypass done.So if all had done your job like you told me you had by turing in for bypass i would have been comming to yall goodby. I do not care for Dr Allens staff at all i liked him very much . The dr i have now i like him even better and his staff is so sweet and has never lied to me or gave me the run around

Hello Bobbie, I would love to recommend my surgeon to you. I believe they are booking operations for November 2003. There is a seminar in Lexington this Thursday 10-16-03 that you have to attend. So call 502-867-6744 to see if you can get into the seminar. I promise you wont regret it. Dr. Weiss and Dr. Oldham are performing Lap. RNY's and Lap Bands at the Georgetown Hospital. They are awesome and I am 12 weeks out from surgery and have lost 65 lbs. They by-pass more of your small intestines which gives you a better and faster weight loss. Bobbie, I had my surgery done by one of the Dr's in this group. I had a friend that called and was told about the waiting list. On my next visit, I asked about the waiting list. This is what I was told. They have 5 doctors that do weigh loss surgery and over 700 people on that waiting list. I know this doesn't help, but thought you might want to know. Judy

dear bobby I know that Dr Allen office is very busy I took 4 month for me to get in and I ask for Dr Allen and He is very busy so I have Dr Cacchione he is very good and works very close to Dr. Allen the Louisville surgery group is what group Dr. Allen and Dr. Cacchione are with and the #is 583-8303 they will help you. My surgery is for Nov 6.'03 and Dr.Cacchione is going to be my Dr. and I very happy with him.
