I had my surgery on July 29th of this year and I was losing weight quite well. But it seems to have nearly stopped --- I have lost only 4-5 pounds in the last 2 1/2 weeks. Is this normal? Thanks, Harriet

Yes, this is normal. We lose like that at times then have a drop of four or five pounds suddenly. It is not a real plateau until you haven't lost anything at all for two or three weeks. Don't worry about it. In the long run, it all averages out. Good luck.

Harriet, Hi I had my surgery the very same day as yours, I have lost 31lbs so far, and my weight loss has slowed down some, but I think it is because I have not been able to eat to well. I have picked up the proteins and have started walking and I am starting to lose a little bit more. How do you feel would love to chat with ya. I am in Bowling Green. Hope things are well for ya. Hello Harriet, I had my surgery on 07-16-03 and was averaging 6 lbs per week. Now I have been very slow for about a week and 1/2 and still the scales are just barely moving. It hasn't bother me yet, but if it goes on for long, I will be getting concerned. I still just pinch myself everyday with this awesome weight loss. So far for me 65 lbs in 11 weeks... Teresa Gash
