HI SCARED
Hi My name is jennifer I am from right out of Lexington and scared to death. I have my first appointment dr.Nighbert and Steiners office with their dietician and internist in a week...I need to know what anyone knows about them good or bad.I have a beautiful 3 year old son and just want to know i am making the right decision...you can email me if you don't want to post on the board Please help.
I said a prayer for you.
I asked that God will anoint anyone *****ads this (and all on this site) from the top of their head to the soles of their feet, and that he would open up the gates of heaven and pour out a blessing upon you that there shall not be room enough to contain it.
I don't know your religion. But I will tell you that things happen for reasons we don't always understand. The darkest part of night is just before day. This situation will make you stronger. And you will be able to give someone advice in the future because you have gone through it. Just remember to thank God it is what is it. Don't compare yourself to examples of how much better things could be (anything). Rather yet compare yourself to examples of how much WORSE things could be. THAT WILL HELP YOU TO PRAISE GOD IN THE TIME OF CIR****TANCE!
He made "OLD DRY BRITTLE BONES LIVE AGAIN"!
Baby he can turn your situation, AND MY SITUATION around and work it out for the good of us. What looked like it was the worse thing that ever happened to you, can turn around to be the best thing that ever happened to you. The things that people do to harm you, can be turned around to make them bless you. Just keep your head up. There is more than what meets the eye!
Sometimes we want things and can't understand why we don't get them, or why we dont get them when we want them. But God can see in the future for us. I pray that you let him light your footsteps and you follow him. Let him be your guide. Let him order your steps of righteousness.
Amen!

These were my surgeons and they are wonderful. In my opinion, their program is the best in the state. They are well-known and well thought of surgeons for many, many years in Kentucky. But Dr. Steiner, my surgeon, is a transplant from California. He did his lap general surgery residency at U.K but he did his wls training under the doc that did Carnie Wilson. If you want to know anything else, please email me. You are in great hands.

Hello Jennifer, I would love to tell you about my surgeon. I never was scared before surgery, since I had such great faith in him. My Surgeons are Dr. Derek Weiss and Dr. John Oldham. Everyone has their own opinions about their Doctors, but I have no doubt that mine are the best in Kentucky. They both go into the operating room together and they have never lost a patient. They do both Lap Band and RNY Gastric By-pass all Laprascopicly. We have monthly support group meetings and on-line daily support group, which are really fun. The have an awesome support staff which 2 of the staff have had the surgery, so they are knowledgable about the surgery, first hand. If you continue to feel the way you do, just think about the Georgtown Hospital in Georgetown, KY. That could be an option if you still are feeling scared later on.. I do hope that things work out the way that you want and I do hope that you ask God to guide you.

Jennifer, Dr. Nighbert performed my surgery on September 5th this year. It went great. He really is kind and does an excellent job on you. I have had very few problems and have lost 51 lbs. More importantly, I feel wonderful, high energy, and just better overall. You can trust their care. They really are there for you, the whole staff. Best of luck to you and as for me, it was the best thing that I have ever done in my life. Creasa
