I need energy...

I am 16 days post-op from my open rny and down 30 pounds (Yippee!!) My ? is when will my energy come back? I am getting around good and with no pain ( I have been able to sleep in my own bed since day 3 of coming home from the hospital), but just walking around tires me out sooooooo bad. My Dr's appt is this Monday and I will find out if I am low iron or anything like that. How long did it take any other post-ops to feel like you were back to normal? Thanks for any advice

boy, I never thought I would get my energy back. I'm three months out now and just now can get around pretty good, but I didn't walk as much as I should have or I would have gotten my energy back sooner. Try to do a little at a time and eventually you will get it back. I still tire easily. good luck.
