stomach pain

Hi, everyone i was just wondering i'm 4weeks post-op and i was wondering if when i have to go to the bathroom. i get a burning sensation on the right side in the middle of my stomach where my pouch is. I was just wondering if that was normal.

I was having pain on my right side and three weeks after my Roux I had to have my gallbladder taken out (also had an obstruction). Definitely talk to your doctor about any odd pains. You could have a bladder infection, kidney infection, kidney stones, gallstones, etc. Don't let me scare you, but for a while your nurses and doctors are there for you in any way and it is never too late to call with problems. I hope it turns out to be nothing though. Good luck! Stephanie
