Nutrional Meeting Scheduled !!

I got a phone call from Amanda this evening letting me know that I have an appt for the nutrional class on Sept 29.. She could have gotten me in on Tues, but that was to short of a notice for me to get off work.... So far so Good.... I am so excited..... Debbie

It is good to see that they are already working on your appts. Amanda will probably want you to buy the Muscle Power protein drink and try it. It is about 40.00 for a large container. I got one pre-op in Vanilla because you can dress it up and loved it. Also, it helped me maintain my weight at that time and not gain anymore. But, a word of warning, that stuff seems to turn from great pre-op to NASTY and gaggy after surgery and there are much cheaper brands that work as well. I use EAS Advant Edge from Walmart. The premixed comes in a four pack for 5.86 or the Eas Advant Edge WHEY powder in a can for 8.46. Mixes well and more bang for the buck. They don't care what you use after surgery as long as it is low carbs. But they do like for you to try theirs pre-op. Also, for the vitamins we need, before you go out and buy any, they have recently developed a bariatric vit. that has every thing you need for 30. a month. A much cheaper way to go than buying separate items at Walmart or GNC. I haven't bought any yet because I ran out and stocked up pre-op and have to use those up but everyone that has tried these say that they are great. Good luck.
