Dr. Geller

Has anyone here had surgery by Dr. Geller? If so what has been your experiance? Anyone had aproval from BCBS PPO, and was it hard to get approval? Newbie here so I got a lot of questions! Robin

Hello Robin, Dr. Geller performed my surgery on 5-27-03. I just returned from my 3-month follow-up appt. and have lost 102 lbs in 97 days. I found Dr. Geller to be very professional and would utilize his services again, if needed.

Hi Robin, I had surgery with Dr. Geller on March 10, 2003. I really liked having him. Unlike many of the other doctors, Dr. Geller's practice was somewhat smaller and he was able to provide great bedside manners. He came to visit me everyday and really spent a tremendous amount of time with me after the surgery. I ended up back in the hospital twice after the initial surgery. Yes related to the surgery but not caused by Dr. Geller. I ended up developing an ulcer around my stoma. Which caused me not to be able to tolerate food or drinks for over 8 days. I became very dehydrated and well just plain ol' sick. He came to the hospital immediately after I arrive. In fact, I live 3 hours away, he continued to call me until I made it to the hospital. For that I'm greatful and proudly tell everyone what a great doctor he is. He seems a little shy up front, but boy just get him talking. Good luck. Debbie

Hi Robin, Dr. Geller done my surgery June the 20th. He is amazing. And he does spend a lot of time with you after surgery. There was an extra bed in my room at the hospital and Dr. Geller would come in and sit on it and talk and talk. He is so friendly and knows what he is doing.
