Surgery was four days ago

I am doing great! I do have a bit of soreness in my abdomen and trouble with this aweful drain tube, but it should be gone as of Tuesday. I got on my scale this morning, the one that wouldn't show a number unless it was under 300 and I haven't gotten a number in months---it said 294! I am SO happy! I was 310 at the first Pre-Op meeting by the doctors scales, and the morning of surgery it was 299.5. I had to lose some weight to decrease my liver size. I honestly didn't think I would, but that three days of cutting out things did it I guess, plus finding and eating sugar free items. BTW, I've heard Applebees is going to put in a menu that is structured for people on Weigh****chers, with points and everything. Anyone know the deal about that?

Congratulations on your success!! It truly must be awesome to watch those numbers go down! Thanks for all your sharing--I've read many of your posts. Haven't heard about Applebees but it sounds great. Keep up the good work.

I'm so glad that you did so well with the surgery. I had you on my mind and in my prayers daily. I too had to come home with the drainage tube. The good thing is that when Dr. Weiss removes it, he takes it out so fast that you don't have time to be scared and it did'nt really hurt, just a little uncomforable. Let me know if I can help.
