1 Week Post Op

Hiya everyone, just wanted to say that I am now 7 days since my surgery and I am feeling great. I am a little sore but that is it. The surgery went real well and I had no problems at all. MOst uncomfortable thing for me with the surgery was having the drainage tube down my nose, but I survived it ...lol. I hope it goes well for all others having this procedure. Of coure I am in the begining stages of my new life, so I am learning as I go, I have lost about 9 lbs this week. I go this Friday and get my staples out and then I intend to start walking to help work out the sorness and speed this up. I started my vitamins this week as well, and I know it is important that we all keep those up. Well just wanted to drop in and say good luck to all others waiting for the big day. Teresa, I agree with you about the first few days as a post-op, they can be a royal pain. Your worse pain is behind you now and the days get better and better. There will be days ahead that will be a little rough but the good days out weigh the bad and your new life takes off and you never look back. 9 lbs is great and you will feel so much better after the staples are removed.
