Medicare/Medicaid Insurance

Does anyone know of any doctor in kentucky that acccepts the Medicare/medicaid medical card.. Ive searched all over and cant find any... if you do PLEASE let me know.. thank you [email protected]

Hi, I had my surgery in May 2002 with medicare/medicaid but I had mine in West Virginia, Cabell Huntington Hopsital, they accepted my cards without any trouble. How far are you from Huntington? Dr. Weiss and Dr. Oldham, the new guys at georgetown Biriatric take both. They are new and are already getting booked for appts because hardly anyone else in the state take this ins. They are not yet on this site. Number is 502-868-1173 or 888-868-0008. Don't know how far you are from G-Town. Hope this helps. If it works for you, better call soon. They will probably stop taking it also.

I had medicare and medicaid and Dr. Geller in Louisville done my surgery. His partner Dr. Shina also accepts the insurances as long as medicare is primary. Plus you don't have to be pre-approved they automatically pay as long as it is medically necessary. Good Luck!!!

Michelle, I went to University Surgical Associates in Lou KY 502-583-8303. I don't have medicare/medicaid, but have met people there who do. You might try them. Understand they have a giant waiting list (500 +), but also 5 or 6 Drs that do the surgery. Judy
