I had to stay and extra night in the hospital due to bordering on pneumonia, but came through the surgery without any other complications. I am just taking each day as it comes, but have already found my favorites which are my snowcones with sugar free syrups, hot decaf. tea with sweetner and the fudgescyles from Diary Queen. I have noticed tha****er taste different now, but it might be the pain medicines are making the water taste funny. Well, I go back to see the surgeon this Friday and will most my weight loss then. Thanks for all the prayers and phone calls. Teresa Gash

congradualations!!!!!! It gets easier the further out you are. Now at nearly six months out, sugar-free popcicles are still my best friend when I want somethjing sweet. Stuff does taste different but eventually most of your taste comes back to what it is pre-op. A lot of sugar free things are just too sweet now. Continued prayers for your recovery are headed your way!!!!!!
