I've been reading the posts for a couple months now, but this is my first time to post on the board. I finally heard something from my insurance today...it wasn't an approval, but they did say that if it could be proven that having RNY was medically necessary, they would cover it. Yayyyy! Now I've gotta get to work gathering all my previous diet info. Wish me luck.

My best advise is get ALL the info you can! I had letters from my Primary Care Doctor and my surgeon as well as blood work. I had my diet history too. Best of luck to you! Missy
