79 hours to go
I've got 79 hours. I'm getting very nervous. I have to start my 2-day liquid regimen tomorrow - can I do it? I woke up with some sinus congestion. Will this lead to them postponing my surgery? I'm so excited, yet very anxious. I don't think I've ever felt like this about anything, except maybe having my first child. I've gotten my UNJURY protein drink supply for at least 2 weeks post op. It's very good, but a little expensive beings I'll be off work awhile. Can anyone suggest another "good" protein supplement that can be bought in the local stores? I bought some coral calcium. I also bought some chewable Centrum vitamins. I noticed, however, my instructions say to get children's chewables for the first few weeks, so I guess I'll need to buy more. I don't know if I can give myself injections when I get home. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm scared I'm forgetting something. My surgery is Wednesday so I'm taking off work Monday and Tuesday to wrap things up. I'm going to buy me good book to take to the hospital (will I feel like reading in a couple of days?). The hospital stay will be hard. I had 3 c-sections and covinced the drs I was ok to go home earlier than the 4th day. Is this similar? I would really like to hear some comments from post op people *****cently had surgery at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville. I'd like to know their experience inpatient.
Pray hard for me and my family!
