Counting down until surgery

Man, I hate waiting. I know my day will eventually come, but June 20th couldn't get here soon enough. I have 34 days and a wake up until surgery. And 13 days and a wake up to start the last of two appointments for pre op testing. I done good waiting from the time I had my first consultation with my doctor until I got a date. But now it's just dragging, however I can remember when I was posting 50 so and so days until surgery. Anyways all, just wanted to wish everyone a great weekend. Delores, have you lost any more weight?? How often do you weigh yourself? That will be a big problem for me. I will want to weigh every day I know. I know how you feel! My surgery is scheduled for 6/30/03, so today is 41 days until the BIG day! I thought the time would just crawl but now that MAy is almost over I just can't believe it. Everyone asks if I am getting scared and I tell them no. I am very excited now that it is getting closer. My doctor requires all of his patients to go to at least one support group meeting, a psych evaluation and a dietary class before surgery. My diet class is 6/3/03 and my next visit with my doctor is on 6/12/03 so I am hoping that next month will go by quick. It is great to be able to talk with others that are going through the same thing! Missy
