Mon 3/7/11 - What Did U Eat Yesterday?

Since it was my first day back from cruise, I was on eat all u want mode but did fairly well. 
Took my vitamins and drank about 32 oz water, 2 cups of coffee w/splenda and creamer.  Ate beef n chicken mexican salad w chips and salsa.  Cheese sauce too along with 2 slices of avocado.  Finished my night off with a piece of fish and 1/2 cup of almonds.  I did not log my food but back to journaling today.
Exercise on the ship was good but did not take advantage of it every day.  Had one rude awakening, upper body strength has decreased.  Ab lounger helps u deceive yourself.  Going to work more w/o equipment to strengthen myself.  Take care all and have a great day.

 Z., welcome home!  Glad you got to go on a cruise- aren't they great fun?!
You mentioned upper body strenghth; kg has become so evident to me in the last 12 days how very, very important that is.  Now that you're resolved to get that part of you in better shape, I know you will go forward & do well.
Did my follow-up this morning with ankle surgeon.  Things are coming right along.  From there, he sent me to a orthodics man off Breckinridge Ln. to be fitted for a shoe with a brace that will aid in my recovery.  Now all i have to do is get through  2 weeks before I get shoe brace & see surgeon again. 
Yesterday, I had small bowl of Cheerios for breakfast, maybe 3 oz., Lunch was carryout from Mark's Feed Store that my dear hubby picked up on way home from church.  Delicious salad, about 2-3 oz. burgoo & 1/2 piece of cornbread.  Dinner is a little bit of blur- I think leftovers from lunch and a few white corn chips, melted shredded cheese & a dollop of sour cream.  YOM, YUM!!!
Lizuids & Snax: Prune juice (yes, it works), decaf coffee, water, a little gingerale, and Yoplait Whipps, Key Lime Pie flavor.
