RNY Revision

Does anyone know of a good surgeon in the Midwest area (KY, TN, IN, IL) that does revisions from proximal to the distal RNY? I had surgery 4 years ago and it was supposed to have been a distal and I even asked my surgeon about it and he said that he did the distal but I found out that he did the proximal.   Thank you, Cherri

I'm not sure about specific RNY proximal to distal revisions, but you could check out Centennial Bariatrics in Nashville. I am trying to get insurance to approve a revision from LapBand to DS with Dr. Houston in their practice. Also, there is Dr. Spaw in Nashville and Dr. Inman in Indiana. Also, I think there may be a surgical group in Bowling Green Ohio that may do revisions. Good luck!

I would NEVER go from a proximal to distal RNY. You need to research a revision to the DS. I know Dr. Husted is gone from KY, but there are other capable surgeons. You'll just need to travel a bit.
